Perth, the world’s 4th most livable city

According to the Economist, Vancouver is at the top of the list (which I would agree with 100% – what a beautiful place to live!), followed by Melbourne and then Vienna (this one surprised me a lot from what I’ve heard about the cost of living there), and the Perth is number 4.

“Important criteria are safety, education, hygiene, recreation, political-economic stability and public transportation. The importance of the list lies primarily in that internationally operating companies use it to determine where they will open offices or plants and how much they pay the employees.”

How about that?

PS: Baghdad, for some strange reason, was bottom of the list… :-)

If i wasn’t living in Perth it would be Melbourne. Can’t handle Sydney for more than a week at a time, but it is a good holiday spot.

Wow Baghdad was bottom of the list. I heard it was good as a extreme holiday destination ;-)
