doh!

Stood up and stretched the other day here in our holiday unit, only to find that my progress was impeded by the ceiling fan. I can happily report that the Mythbusters are correct in busting the myth that a ceiling fan can lop off a head. My thumb is still in place, although a bit cut and bruised. I can also report that there is something quite wrong about having a jolly good stretch interrupted so violently like that. Very wrong.

  1. Resorts just don’t have the high ceilings we enjoy at home. I was going to say keep your eyes on Jesus, but I guess you would come back with “He is everywhere”, anyway I reckon the kids had a good laugh at your expense.

  2. Yep, tragically everyone did laugh at me – where’s the pity and compassion these days?! Although, I must confess they did show some concern when there was blood (in between laughing)…
