Yeh I tried both programs too for my Pocket PC and found Missing Sync was better, although as you say, not without problems. For a week or more it just decided to cease recognizing my phone at all, and it's also had a constant error with contact syncing since the second week I had it. My problem with the Mac is I still find it hard to troubleshoot when things go wrong.
