i love my blackberry pearl (although i would sorely love a curve!), and i definitely love my macbook, but the pocketmac software provided by blackberry for syncing their phones with apple machines has to be about the worst software i have ever come across, and i don’t say that lightly. it is absolutely terrible – ridiculously inept piece of programming, and i just find it incredible that RIM would have countenanced it as their official sync software for macs.
it’s a bit of bind for me, because i love both of these devices and i desperately need for them to talk to each other. i’m currently using mark/spaces’ “missing sync” product, and so far so good, although i’ve experienced a few quirks with that too. but, so far, at least it hasn’t completely crashed my mac like pocketmac did – ridiculous software…

Yeh I tried both programs too for my Pocket PC and found Missing Sync was better, although as you say, not without problems. For a week or more it just decided to cease recognizing my phone at all, and it’s also had a constant error with contact syncing since the second week I had it. My problem with the Mac is I still find it hard to troubleshoot when things go wrong.
I find the problem with macs is a 10% market share and they suck ;)
10% and growing… you’ll get one soon enough, and then you’ll why you didn’t back in 2007 when OB gave you the tip… :-)
What are you doing up this early, here i am thinking i can troll a blog in peace, remember give Deano some flack about buying a mac, i will tell him you are looking for him when i see him today
He’s a pastor, no doubt he is up early….off to golf maybe? :)
yeah, right… nope, golf isn’t what got me up… it’s called “the-beginning-of-school-again”…
well – 10% market share just proves the smart ones are always the minority……
I’ve had my mac for several onths now and I’m very impressed… just bought my good lady a macbook pro – very nice…
