• Freo… losers. They win when I don’t tip them, and they lose when I
  do. Thankfully, the Saints keep marching… #

• Theoretical day off which is looking to be busy. Only upside so far is
  the awesome coffee Nic made me. #
• Installed Win 7 RC on my kids’ computer. Seems ok so far. Definitely
  better than Vista. #
• First Coles home delivery. On one hand, they made a mistake. On the
  other, they’ve tried to fix it. Fix wasn’t a fix, so I guess we’l … #

• Up and running. Prep day ahead for a bunch of things, including our
  next sermon series. First step… coffee. #
• ok, worked out my plan for the day… now time to work the plan. #
• OK, no more screwing around… quad-shot espresso… NOW we’re
  talking…! #

• Fun to watch the pride on parents’ faces as their kids get school
  awards. There’s a real joy in seeing your kids do well. #
• Wow! A full day of good meetings, but feeling a little brain dead.
  Another hour of clearing the decks & I’m off to the city. #

• Been a bit busy for Facebooking lately. What does it mean?! #
• Our home heating is dead at the moment, so these cold mornings are NOT
  FUNNY! Repair dude better come today! #
• Gas heating repair guy talks to himself a lot. I keep thinking he’s
  talking to me, but he isn’t. Reminds me of an old statistics prof … #
• Heating is fixed! Woo di hoo hoo! Repair guy just happened to have the
  right controller board. I was excited, but he seemed more exci … #
• Great staff meeting. On the same page and ready to go long or go
  home. The way it should be. #

• Just discovered my neighbour did the right thing by removing a huge
  tree branch from my lawn. That’s cool & neighbourly. #
• Gotta admire the banks. While people are overwhelmed by the global
  financial crisis, they made over $1billion dollars in penalty fees … #

• Just paid $180 to Holden for a piece of plastic & vinyl. What a joke!
  Even the sales guy was embarrassed… #

• Full day, and now sitting in Freo waiting for Jord. Then I gotta race
  home for the next thing. Looking forward to the thing after that… #
• Peeps, I is going to sleeps. #

• Tired after a pretty full day. Over and out. #
• Risking personal harm making coffee at the moment because my machine
  is spewing steam and boiling water everywhere, but a man’s gotta … #

Jeremy Clarkson writes this hilarious piece on this experience with the new Honda Insight 1.3 IMA SE Hybrid.

“So here goes. It’s terrible. Biblically terrible. Possibly the worst new car money can buy. It’s the first car I’ve ever considered crashing into a tree, on purpose, so I didn’t have to drive it any more. “

I have normally viewed Honda as a superlative maker of excellent cars, but obviously their foray into new, greener technologies is not quite up to par:

“Normally, Hondas feel as though they have been screwed together by eye surgeons. This one, however, feels as if it’s been made from steel so thin, you could read through it. And the seats, finished in pleblon, are designed specifically, it seems, to ruin your skeleton. This is hairy-shirted eco-ism at its very worst. “

I think I’ll stay away… :-)
