• Appointments up in Perth today, so currently doing sermon prep in a Subi cafe. I find cafes to be one of my most creative spaces. #
• I was almost a policeman back when I was 20. Often wonder what different paths life might have taken with a job like that. #
• Two girls behind me on the train are having a conversation the whole train can hear because they’re also listening to their ipods. Doh! #
• had to fix a small plumbing problem at our place tonight… glad i didn’t go into plumbing as a career… hooo boy! nasty! :-( #

• been pretty busy since getting back from thailand and cambodia. lots of big things which need serious attention – need a holiday! :-) #
• Just finished a great time discussing worship with our Worship Team guys. Quiz Q – what’s the 1st place worship turns up in the Bible? :-) #
• weird this morning… had the definite sense from God to pray for a mate. i’ve learnt from experience to follow these leadings… #

• Pretty busy day today, dealing with consuming issues. Seems 2 me that brain work can be more draining than physical labour much of the time. #

• Great to be back at Warnbro this morning. Really enjoyed the services, & Max & Gunny did a great update on our recent trip. #

• Nice to be home. Woke up to kids fighting, so I knew I was in the right house! :-) #

• off to see gilbert from pioneers. glad we can see him after he came a cropper with a bike in myanmar. near the russian market. #
• had a great meeting with gilbert and ruth from pioneers – really encouraged by their work, but they need prayer… lots of it! #
• just got back from visiting work in one of the very poor villages outside phnom penh. always cool to see God’s people making a difference. #
• it’s a small world – met a korean pastor out here with OM background who knows people i know. always cool to meet and pray with others. #
• ok then… off for our last dinky di cambodian dinner… :-o #
• up and at ‘em! jeepers! feels a bit early to be getting going, but air asia waits for no man… and i’m looking forward to home! #
• strangest thing in cambodia. optus has blackberry coverage with the same carrier vodafone uses, but vodafone has no gprs or blackberry. doh! #

• early start this morning as we head off to visit some kids education centres here in phnom penh. surprising # of foreigners here doing work. #
• unbelievably HOT day here, but awesome to see the fantastic work of "transform cambodia" with street kids in 3 centres. very inspiring. #
• it’s so hot that the pool was like a roman bath – absolutely unpleasant and no relief at all. having fun trying to learn khmer from locals. #
• enjoyed a great dinner catch-up with my old DTS classmate, bill majors. he’s still ministering in korea. unbelievable to see him here in PP. #

• quick update on gunny – cooled down a lot overnight. seems 2 b a lot better. still feeling a bit 2 weak 2 head out with us. keep praying! #
• had a very insightful meeting this morning – worth coming to cambodia just for that meeting. great input which i think will really help us. #
• craziest thing! walking down the street in phnom penh and i bumped into an old friend from dallas days! weird! he’s now in korea. cool… #
